Looking for a new trunk amp unit for my Becker radio
Hello.
I have a 1993 300se.
I have been dealing with a e2 error code I have checked the fuses and I assume the power amp in the trunk is bad. My question is how do I get my hands on another one. I assume just installing a new radio will not work with the door subs. The lady I bought the car from said the radio worked till the changed the battery. All the fuses are. Ow good but still the e2 code showing I removed the unit from the dash unplug everything and re enter the code. And after about 30 sec the e2 shows up and the radio powers down. I have taken out the what I assume is the amp that has a label "Becker" on it and well there is nothing to really do with it then so I rep lug that in and start over same thing. Can I just find a junk yard or a used one and just plug and play?
I need help with this. I have fixed everything else in this car but the radio. Plz help
