Hey All,

Upgrading the sub on my 06 c55 with command. I want to use the SLDIN.BTL-F to convert the signal from the stock sub to a balance Symbilink cable. The SLDIN.BTL-F come with a L/R channel and ground to attach. The sub in the C55 has one connection (i.e. 2 wires). My concern is adding to much of a load to the factor sub channel and frying it.

Any thoughts?

I used to add subs all the time and used the audio control lc2i no big deal. adding a load will not damage the sub channel, shorting it will. either way it's a pretty crappy signal anyways, don't expect too much out of it quality wise.

Just to close this out I used the SLDIN.BTL-F and connected both L and R to the Sub out line and attached the 3rd ground to the car. it works perfectly.
