Help with E63 AMG lease!

Hey,

Just went to the dealer to look at an E63 AMG.

The MSRP on the car is 94k and change, the negotiated price is 88k.

The lease worked out to 1480$ a month for 33 months, 12k miles a year. That is will around 2,800$ due at signing.

Should I try to get the price lower, or is this a good deal????

Thanks,

Tom

Dude, are F-in high?? You should be at like $1,150 a month with that kind of coin out of pocket for that car. There has a standing deal for $999 a month with $7K due at inception for ~30 month lease, so translating it into numbers I am very close. Here is a site where you can actually get a deal on the car instead of getting jammed:

^^^ Thats why I asked here, I have no idea if its a good deal or not.

Also the CL55 is getting traded in, and they are giving a much higher value than its worth, so I'm sure that changes up the lease price.

I will be going to the dealer tomorow, and I will defn get them to go lower on the lease price, that price I didn't negotiate on, thats the price they told me.

Yea, I will walk out if they won't go lower on the price now.

Thanks for pointing out how bad the deal was, I just looked at the 999$ lease on edmunds.com.

I'm confused. The link below doesn't seem that great. It's $1,199/month, the car is USED and the lease term is 39 months instead of 30.

Doing some quick math on the latest deals MB is offering:

Est. MSRP: $95,000
Lease miles: 10k/year
24 month resid: 62% ($57,950)
Money Factor: 0.001
Est. Negotiated Price: $88,000
Money Down: $0 (why put anything down with a MF so low, it's like free $$!)

Lease Interest: $145.95
Lease Princ: $1,112.96
Lease Total: $1,258.91 (plus tax, according to your state)

There's so many things that affect lease price, that you have to be extremely cautious when comparing two deals.

Anyone know what an E63 is currently selling for compared to invoice? I'm looking into swaping out my '06 E55 which is up in a month and getting an '08...

Thanks!
Rodney

The new E is coming! They are trying to get rid of all E models (MBUSA) - You get a great deal on the E 63 - They are way way over the going rate - at least in CA.

Good Luck

Well after looking at the 999$ a month deal I realized the 1400$ a month deal was better. To get the 999$ you need to pay the tax upfront, and also put alot more down. The deal I got is 1,400$ a month (tax is in the monthly payment), with like 2,500$ due at signing. Still don't know if that is a good deal or not, but I was happy with the price.

In the market for an 09 E550, but ran some numbers on the E63 for ****s...so I'll post it.

Dealer quoted me the other day $1,198/month/33 months/12k miles year/$7,800 total oop.

This was just a face value number, when pushed it would get better.

I just did a 2008 E63 - MSRP $94k/5,500 total out of pocket/10k per year - 1,133 per month including tire and rim insurance.

Hope this helps
