Waiting on the new 09 E-class - renew my lease?

Hi there...we have a 2004 E500 4matic coming off a MB lease this November. We want to get another E-class but want to get the new 09 version coming out next year.

I would like to just keep the car for another year so I think the easiest way to do so is renew the lease. does anyone out there have any experience doing this? How much negotiation does MB do in these situations? Will they just keep the say payments and conditions and extend a year or do they make changes since the residual and such are clearer? What about the warranty? Besides the lease, any other thoughts on how to bridge the year while we wait - other than bike to work!

With most leasing companies, and the manufacturer, you can usually extend your lease for a few months and the payments usually stay the same.

Other than that, you may need to re-lease it for 24 months right now.
