Lease coming up. Need buyout help!

My 2007 S550 is almost at the end of the 3 year lease. I leased through U.S. Bank.

I think I'm going to keep the car, so now I need to look at lease buyout rates. U.S. Bank has not made any offers yet to me, and I don't know if they typically do. It's my first lease through them.

I'm looking for the following advice:

1) Who are the banks that are providing the best lease buyout rates (assume best credit)?

2) Does U.S. Bank typically make offers to finance a purchase?

Any other advice gratefully taken. Thanks.

About a year ago, my lease with US Bank on a Range Rover had a 36k buyout. I offered them 23k (auction price at the time) and they countered at 27K. Given the current state of the auto market, I can't imagine that they would do anything different today, maybe even better.

I have never expierenced this but my third cousin did with US Bank on her Escalade ESV and they said 69,000 and then she said 54,000 and they went ahead and approved it.

1) You can use our Drive It Now service for competitive finance offers here: http://www.driveitnow.net/din/drivei...hp?DealerID=19

2) Yes, but the less interest you show in buying it the better. We can assist with the buyout.
