Hey Sal, after you purchased your exteneded warrenty from a dealership, why not help other car buyers by writing a review about the dealer performance at ; www.rateyourcardeal.com, I did. Reward the good one and punish not so good one. pointing out the good dealers, and helping avoid the bad ones.*
PS;You can also negociate the price and shop around.

Does the MB New Car Warranty start on the in-service date or the actual deli
very date?
Dealers sometimes book the car as "in service" when there is a deposit and the car arrives from MBUSA. The buyer may take actual delivery some time later. This practice is frowned upon by many State DMVs, BTW.

What kind of experience did you have with the gentleman recommended? I'm looking for an Extended Warranty for our 2013 GLK 4matic. Have about a month or two left to make a purchase.

A call to MBUSA informed me that I can buy the New Car Extended Warranty before either 4 years or 50k miles are up. After the first year there is an optional 15% surcharge.

Unfortunately nothing I have here would be reasonable. I only have one company I could use, they're great, but you would be looking $9000+ (just guessing) My other warranty company doesn't do extended warranties for AMG's.

Wow it is really tough to find a resonable priced extended warrenty on a MB that you bought from a individual. The best price I have heard sofar on my new2me 79K mile 2006 E350 is over $6000 for something they are calling a VIP Warrenty and it still doesn't cover much that normally goes wrong except a the major componet. The b*tch is I only paid twice that for the MB when I bought it so I could basically buy the same 2006 3 years from now for the $6K they want. I have a $95K motorhome that evrything, including plumbing and fridg, and AC are all cover for only $560 a year.... warrenty compaies are not making them a value.

I'm in Cali and I used this guy. He gave me the warranty at 300 over invoice price. I got the 7YR/75 Package since my wife barely drives and it was like 2000.00 and after tax it was 2107. Best deal I found. My dealer here in Newport was charging me 4500 or so for th same warranty.
