Pre-paid maintenance included in Lease?

Can pre-paid maintenance, say for 3 years, be included/added to a lease amount. If so is that a good idea? Actually, it seems like this should automatically be included with a leased vehicle -- probably not.

Thanks for your input.

what car are you leasing? How many miles do you drive?
I just leased a 2016 s550 with 7500/yr for 3yrs. I went with two year prepaid maintenance for 1050. I intend to return the car in 2.5 years and get another. Getting 3 yr would have been a waste of $400 for me. Negotiate lease first then add prepaid maintenance. Or get them to include it for free if they dont give you a stellar deal. Dealership makes money on selling you prepaid maintenance. My sis had them include prepaid maintenance in her c300 lease. I got a great deal on the s550 lease and just added prepaid maintenance

There is not much profit in the MB prepaid maintenance. For a 3 year on my new E300, the suggested list price is $1125 and dealer cost is $1025. Of course, all the other products (wheel and tire insurance, etc.) are very profitable to the dealer

Regarding whether you should put it into the lease, yes, yes, yes.!

The prepaid maintenance is permitted to be capitalized in your lease so if your lease residual is 60% of MSRP, the cost of the $1125 policy is only 40% to you. Approximately $450 for two "A" services and one "B" service is a great deal.

Thank you for your replies. We did include it in our GLC300 Coupe lease.

Pre-paid maintenance is not included but it is a great value especially if you are leasing. You save about 20% on the package (it's residualized) and its a piece of mind. You drop your car off don't pay for anything get a loaner and go on with your day! It's worth it I have it on all of my cars!
