Direct Inject Turbo Engine and Ethanol Gasolines
For quite some time there'e been a raging debate over non ethanol vs ethanol gasoline petrol for car engines, and this debate seemingly crosses over to those engines that have port engine versus direct injection....
My question is.... realizing our engines are high compression direct injection engines.... simply put... do you guys run ethanol (E10 and below) gasoline(s) for your w246?
Based on a variety of tests and articles, the use of ethanol blended fuels are better suited for direct injection....
I am on the fence and would like to you any of your opinions....
I currently only pump in Shell Nitro+ VPower (No ETHANOL) gasoline but several sources are advising for direct injection engines to go with ethanol....
Am I missing something here?
