Mind posting pictures of the wheels that you received?
Coz I searched his Brabus wheel F/S thread, he did mention one of the wheels is bent. Tires look ok in the picture too. 2k seems alright for authentic brabus 19" judging from the pictures he posted.

I know that this is none of my business BUT...maybe you should try talking to him now that he is back from the funeral and see if the situation can be worked out.
Was insurance used during the shipment? If so then a claim should be made. If no insurance was bought then maybe you two can come to an agreement to have the rims fixed. He did pay ALOT of extra money to get them to you so maybe you guys can work out a 50/50 deal to get the bent rims fixed. There are rim places that will do this for a pretty nice fee. All the rest of the stuff like the scrape on the inside and curbage that was disclosed of before the sale will of course be your responsibility. I am just being the devils advocate here and not taking sides BUT, I think that you should try this method before you slander his name all over the board. Once again, I do not know either of you personally, I am just hoping to see this resolved amicably. Greg

Thanks Greg, that's what i'm trying to do is be fair, I don't know why he doesn't just file a UPS claim. I posted some pictures of the wheels on the W208 Forum when they went out, none of the damage he is talking about, he keeps demanding different prices for repairs, new tires, i think he just want's to refinish the rims and wants me to pay for some it...IMO

At the least, Send the damn bolts already!
And yes I read the whole mess. The most apparent thing is apparently he still hasn't received the bolts that were part of the sale. The rest may be up to interpretation, but that was quite clear. Whats the hold up? I would tend to doubt those bends happened due to UPS. They couldn't possibly bring those kinds of stress to bear on a set wheels with tires on them in the course of shipment IMHO. Maybe you didn't look closely enough. Seems to me, helping to pay for the repair and sending the bolts is fair for a top dollar purchase. End it already! ![]() Hell I only paid $400 for my AMG's with Michelin PS2's on them. Damn good wheels, and the tires had 5-6 /32 on them, I did it in person. To the buyer, buying used wheels at those prices thru the mail is very risky. I doubt you'll do that again. You could have bought a nice set new. Those tires didn't look worth shipping from the pics he sent you. Almost no tread. Did you ask him to measure? If not thats your own fault.
