Nope. I asked my dealer about the online tracking and nothing. The dealer does have a pretty good system to tell you where it is in production though. BMW's online system was very basic, but it was pretty cool to see where it was on a daily basis.

It's only if your order matches a new vehicle already in stock that you'll get it any earlier ![]() For the Aust. market they are made and delivered from Germany, wait periods for other markets recieving vehicles from other production plants eg. U.S market from Sth. Africa MB production the wait periods may be different. As said don't worry too much, it passes by quickly |

Yes, on Monday!
![]() I think it tooks so long because Mercedes has full order books. If you order today delivery would be Aug/Sep. But that is nothing compared to Audi or VW. Here you' ve to wait from six up to twelth months for some models... |

Yes, a friend waited 13 months for their VW Polo GTI and another about 6 months for their Golf GTI.
We purchased 14 Feb so a delivery date of 18 June is quite ok. Does production complete within one day? If so, it's exciting to know our car is in physical existence as of yesterday! |

No, production lasts three days, mine was built on Friday the 13th. The dealer was able to tell me the exact time (down to the second) when the car will leave the production halls.
Delivery from Bremen to Frankfurt takes a few days so it's becoming the 23rd.

![]() I waited 3 and 1/2 months once to take delivery of a HSV R8 which is a local brand here in Australia, reason being they take priority on O/S orders and deliveries (also because the engines are built and supplied from the U.S), I suppose it's a similar thing for other Countries. Also was going to buy a VW Polo Gti early last year but when told I'd be waiting 7-12 months I purchased a Mazda 3 SP25 instead with immediate delivery, the wait on the Polos is long because Worldwide demand for that particular vehicle (ie. all Polo variants) is extremely high, still demand for other types such as Toyota Corollas is much higher and Toyota have no problems delivering their vehicles very quickly, must also come down to prduction facility capabilities too
