2012 C250 Coupe
Navigation traffic updates
So I just bought a 2012 C250 Coupe with navigation. Apparently I also got 3 month trial version of SiriusXM Satellite Radio with
Audio: Complimentary 3-Month Trial – Sirius All Access
Infotainment: Complimentary 3-Month Trial – SiriusXM Traffic Complimentary 3-Month Trial – SiriusXM Travel Link®
The problem is I get these super annoying traffic updates that play during navigation. Something along the lines of "on US 105 westbound traffic congestion between Street X and Street Y, traffic moving at an avg speed of 30 mph."
Now my questions is, is this because of the SiriusXM Traffic? Or is this something built into the C250 Navigation?
Do C250 Coupes usually come with traffic updates with the navigation?

The Sirius Traffic is part of Sirius subscription. Your car should have received manuals for the car as well as the Comand Navigation. It is well documented on how to change different settings for the navigation system.

Yes, and you can disable the announcements as well. You can do it temporarily (i.e. for the current driving session) by hitting the mute button on the steering wheel while "she" is talking. You can set it to not announce at all in the Traffic menu under Settings (if I remember correctly).
