A bit much.

I agree. It seems like almost half of the posts are ads. Back when I first joined this forum (in 2005) 99 percent of the posts were forum posts by members and not sponsers

I concur - after leaving the BMW boards where I could look up and find a schematic to fix virtually anything on my car, I've swapped it for a 2014 C250 and all I can find here is carbon fiber stick-ons and random car ads. So sad.

I've lurked for awhile and not posted all that much mostly due to the advertising blitz this site is hit with on a daily basis. Very unfortunate these ADs can't be kept in a separate part of the forum.

I also agree.

Whilst it's nice to have exposure to what's available in the aftermarket for our cars the sales adds frequency on this forum (ie: on all the boards here in this forum) is definitely OTT !

I'm a member of many other car brand forums and have been on car forums since they first appeared in the 90's and must say this site is the worst on this subject, non of those other boards are "in your face" with adds as much as this one.

I do understand a lot of this is revenue driven by the forum owner/s, fair enough but too much is too much

Above suggestion is a good one, ie: put vendors in their respective/separate sub forum sections is the way to go so as to not clutter up the normal forums threads.
