c350 Coupe RennTech Confirmed HP Gains
I spoke to Mitchell at Renntech today, Nice guy, I would recommend him to anyone considering a RennTech flash.
Gains for the 350 are 22-25 hp
Gains for the c350 Coupe are "nominal, under 10 hp" according to Mitchell.
Just the flash 7-10 HP
With the optional Renntech Air filter (intake filter) he said it would be more like 10-12 HP.
Obviously he stated that the tune will also affect throttle response and overall power band but the gains are around 10 hp in total.
It's cheaper if you just remove the ECU and send it yourself. If you bring it to a dealer they will charge you to remove and reinstall the ECU which is very easy.
I believe he said the flash costs roughly $995 and the air filter was another $250 (roughly)
