Is it as simple as twisting the emblem counter clockwise? I've tried to do it, but with everything being plastic, I'm a little gunshy of forcing it.

I might just go to the dealership and ask one of the techs to do it, so if it breaks, it's not on me.

No, twist it use in cla model not our model. It need to take all front grill out by removing cover. Then use a little screwdriver to take it off.
