I used my catalog coupon and dealer's $50 GC and bought an illuminated star from the dealer.
Using this how-to, it looks pretty straightforward:

I got as far as the engine bay cover/cowl and got shut down by the wipers.
Looks like I need to remove the wiper arms to get the cowl out of the way.
I removed the nut from the driver's side arm, but it wouldn't come off.
Suggestions? I'll ask my service manager as well.

If you have an illuminated star, would you please post a pic of the location of the socket and wire guide clip? The socket has a groove that looks like it clicks into a specific place.
