Looking to buy a brand new C300 coupe in the US - what price should I aim for?
Hi everyone - I am looking to purchase my first MB. Have my eyes on the brand new 2017 C300 coupe (premium 1, sport package). Since the car is so new and I've never dealt with a MB dealer before, I don't have much datapoint or baseline to negotiate. Should I start with 10% off the MSRP? I am located in Virginia. Any help is appreciated!
On a side note - with a black interior, do you prefer black ash wood or linden wood?
Please feel free to PM me or leave a post here.

We just finished purchasing our 2017 C300 Coupe, Premium 1 & Sport Package here in AZ. Was able to get 12% off MSRP without too much hassle.
In terms of interior, I definitely like the black ash wood more. That's what we have, but we have Saddle Brown interior instead.
I'd only consider the linden wood on a silk beige or porcelain interior.

Bought my coupe back in October. Premium 1 package, brown open-pore wood, 18" twin-spoke rims, Garmin SD nav, Polar White/Saddle Brown MBTex, rear-deck spoiler and wheel locks.
MSRP was $47,280, invoice was $44,800 and I negotiated overall price down to $41,500 (including a $1500 fleet discount), so about a 12.3% discount off MSRP.
I'm leasing my car for 48 months for $497/mo including taxes and fees. I plan on purchasing the car at the end of the lease.

If the dealer has several in stock they'll be more willing to deal for one off the lot. Haven't noticed Mercedes offering incentives for the coupe so that may require a bit more negotiation. Envious to other posts receiving great deals because I got not such a good deal because we order our coupe for a Euro Delivery long before the car arrived in the USA.
