1999 C280 Sport lowered with Brabus & Bilstein Sport

After much debate... I just went ahead and lowered my 1999 C280 Sport with the Brabus springs (Thanks Scorchie! $200) and Bilstein Sport shocks (www.importec.com $307 shipped) & paid for labor. Will get alignment tomorrow to complete it. Used the stock pads. Here's the after pic (the before pic is on page 3 of this thread):

Those are 17" SLKs with 225/45/17 in the front & 245/45/17 in the rears. Here's another angle.

Not sure how much they cost... the previous owner had those on and traded in the OEM 16" w/ some cash. If it were me, it's either those or the 17" monoblocks, but the tires need to be at least 45s. I'm not willing to sacrafice comfort and that's why I went w/ the Bilstein Sports & Brabus. Good Luck!

changed rear stock #1 pads to #4 pads

Hey Guys,

Just changed my rear stock pads from #1 to #4. You can compare the before & after pics on Page 9 vs 10 of this thread. That's an increase from 8mm to 18mm (correct me if I'm wrong TP). A lot of work but it's a guessing game to know what is the height each person likes. Anyone want to buy a pair of #1 rear pads off a 1999 C280 sport? ($10).

Again, car was lowered w/ Brabus springs (thanks Scorchie!) & Bilstein Sport Shocks, w/ 245/45/17 rears & 225/45/17 fronts SLKs.
