AC Blower motor stopped working.

Just today, I went to turn on my AC, and the fan doesn't blow at ALL. It was working just fine last night. The compressor clutch is engaging, and the AC system is working, but just no air from the vents. I can feel some cold air waft in through the vents while at speed, but the motor isn't working at all in any speed setting.

I checked the fuse in the engine bay fuse box, and it is intact. I even switched it with a known good fuse, and still the blower doesn't turn on.

What could be the issue? Please help!!!

Blower motor.I'll bet that the drain is clogged and the motor shorted out. It's a DIY replacement, motor's about $250.00.

How can I check that it's not the regulator? Also, the car hasn't been near water any time recently...it's a garage queen.

Has it been outside during the fall or spring -leaves or tree pollen? Have you dropped the cabin filter to make sure nothing is jamming the blower motor ?

May be it's abt time to pull out the blower and check the brushes. I had mine changed (DIY) and it all goes well again. Search the forum and you will find the step by step guide to gain access to the blower, its removal & reinstatement. Cost me 19 pound + postage to Sydney.

I determined that there is 12V supplied to the regulator, and the motor works perfectly when 12V are applied. So I ordered a new regulator. Hopefully that will fix the problem. Should arrive tomorrow.

I'm having a similar issue. No air coming out of my vents. I put in a new blower motor and resistor, dropped the cabin filter and cleaned everything out, fuse is fine. When I turn on the fan speed I can hear a click coming from the blower motor but its not spinning. I'm running out of ideas any suggestions?
