1998 W202 c200 ac fan won't blow and engine fan running full speed at engine start
Hi guys,
First of all thank you for creating this forum, I've been reading it for 2 weeks and hasn't stopped learning so far.
So for my problems. I have a Mercedes Benz with specifics detailed in title. As of today the ac fan has stopped working and the engine(front) fan is running full speed as long as the engine is on.
Allow me to go back in history to trace back how it all started.
After a very hot and dusty dry season (I leave in Africa, in Congo to be specific), the water evacuation route in front, just below the wind shield got blocked by dust allowing water -when the rainy season returned- to flood the interior on the passenger side, below the glove box passing by the ac air entrance. First the water killed the ac fan regulator, and the ac fan was staying on even when engine is stopped and key removed. I removed the ac fan fuse to still be able to use the car without it running permanently, that was 4 months ago. Very recently I have decided to remove the ac fan to check part number to buy new one, after removing the ac fun -same day- front radiator fan started to run at full speed as long as engine is running. Yesterday received new purchased ac fans(2). Tried each on car, not working. Checked fuses, all okay, in fact if I put back the old ac fan it's still permanently running! I love my car but I'm so frustrated right now as I've just spent a lot of money trying to put it back in shape.
Please Help!

Finaly found a solution. So everything was linked to internal climate control not being proprly plugged back. Removed it put back and everything works perfectly again!
