99 c230 kompressor sputtering during acceleration
just bought it 99. when cold it drives like ****, sputters the whole time. when its warm it will sputter when u give a gas to speed up quickly. but if u drive it like granny it does fine. check light is on. any suggestions??

, have you tried cleaning the MAF, or unplugging it and see if it runs better?

i was told from the previous owner that it could be a fuel pump. but i dont have the cash to just keep guessing. please need some advice here. always had a honda and this car is to much for me to figure out.

Yes, just unplug the sensor connector, and see if it runs any better. Without the sensor the computer reverts to default values. So if it runs any better the MAF might be your problem.
Also you can go get the check engine light read for free at most auto stores. Without the codes, we cant even really begin to guess.
