Rough idle
Hi there,
I'm having issues with my 1994 W202 C220. The car drives beautifully however on idle there is a vibration which is rather annoying for most passengers.
It only vibrates like this in Drive, and when the car is stationary. When I flick the transmission into Neural the vibration stops.
I have read the MAF could need cleaning? Does that sound right?
Any help would be great guys

From your description, there may be nothing wrong with your engine at all, but actually your engine mounts. Once engine and transmission mounts age, and get weak, they will allow all of the vibration of the driveline to transfer to the vehicle chassis.
If you have never replaced your engine or transmission mounts, you may want to inspect them, and replace them if they are showing their age. If it is time to replace the engine and transmission mounts, we have them available on our site. You can get to them by clicking HERE.
If there is anything else I can help out with, please feel free to post or send a PM!
