Rear turn signals 1998
1998 c230. Just bought this beautiful vehicle. Battery is dead. replaced battery and now my rear turn signals are not working but the reverse lamps flash instead? Is there a relearn process I need to do? They worked fine before all this battery problem happened. When I lock my doors with the remote the front turn signals flash...normal...but the rear reverse lamps flash also???help

I believe the tail lamp is hardwired so no learning,
tail lamp connector is irreversible, but have a look at them the might be reversed or tampered with (although this doesn't make any sense,because you said it worked fine before !
weird problem !
how did the battery die ?

The battery died because of the cold weather and it was a 6 year old battery. I did not notice the problem at first. When I was checking the door locks with the remote unlock or locking I noticed the reverse lamps lite. Then checking the tail lamp operation I noticed when I activate the turn signals the reverse lamps were flashing. That's all?
