Shoud I use OEM battery when replacing

Family,

Brand new to MB World and viewed many helpful threads over the past hour. My battery died on my 2007 C230. I received quotes in the range of $350 to $400 for battery, installation, and window/sunroof sync. I found two OEM parts dealers that have the batteries (almost half of what the dealer quoted) but they can't send due to HAZMAT. Therefore, I'm back to purchasing at the local Mercedes dealer or a local Bosch dealer. I have several questions for the forum....

a. Should I replace the battery with OEM parts?
b. If I replace myself, can I reset the windows/sunroof by holding the button down?
c. Are there any other components that may need resetting when I replace the battery?

Thanks for your advise.
