1996 C220 Mercedes Mercedes won't start
Hello all,
My 1996 c220 stalls occasionally. Thus it dies and wouldn't start after several attempts. The work around was to lock and unlock the car using the remote.
This worked for a few weeks and now it does not work at all. Sometimes I have to leave this car for at least 24hrs before it will start again. Per expects recommendation I changed the overload relay protection. That didn't fix it.
I have now been advised to replace the automatic door locking vacuum pump.
Could someone please let me know where the said vacuum pump is located on a 19996 C220? Also please let me if there is any additional advise on how to fix this problem.
Thanks in advance

Hello all,
I thought I had to clarify my self a little bit
It's time to replace the Automatic Door Locking Vacuum Pump and I don't I seem to be struggling with where this is located on 1996 C220. Could someone please show me where it's located. If there is a diagram of the vacuum system available anywhere, please point me to it. Also, I will appreciate any advise that will help me diagnose and ifix it as DIY
Thanks again
