W210 Power Folding + Blinker Mirrors on W202 need help
Alright,
So I have the option of purchasing the one mod I've been dying to source and install on my w202. It is the power folding and blinker mirrors off of w210. Problem is that I found them from the UK. Which means that the auto-dimming feature after installation will be on my passenger side mirror!!! First of all I want to know if I should buy them. Second I would like to know what else besides the mirrors and the switch I'll need to retro-fit. And third is how to wire it (wiring diagram would be helpful) and how to switch the auto-dimming feature to be on the correct side. I'm in the US, so LHD!!! Thanks in advance

The Folding aspect of the mirror adds quite a bit of complexity. This is in addition to that the RHD LHD issue. Some manufacturers (can't speak to Mercedes)have the mirror housings at slightly different angles for LHD and RHD models so please check that out. Adding the W210 blinking only mirros is relatively straight forward and inexpensive to souce parts stateside on ebay. As much as the folding feature is really slick and cool, the incremental cost in parts and labor involved is huge.

I gave up on the one from the UK. Looking into options from Germany though if there's a link thread on DIY Install that you could reply with, would be greatly appreciated

Was so simple bro.,
i took the mirrors with harness from 01-02 "W210", match the colors of the wiring harness with W202,,
96-02 "W202/W208/W210", sharing the same mirrors wiring harness colors..

Ah, Sorry, forgot to tell; depend to the door harness spec.,
mine comes with additional (8-pin), with additional two unused pins for blinkers, code "B/MM2",,
i matched the harness connectors from 01-02 "W210", then connect the L/R wires directly from unused pin (# 6) to door control module.

It's not that hard bro., matter of soldering wires,
seems, my setup is differ than yours,,
if so, you can simply use 01-02 "W210" mirrors harness/connectors, and match the colors,,
then get additional wires directly to front blinkers..
