Looking for more HP
Hey guys I was told that If I cut off my cat I can gain hp, now somebody else told me if I cut it off I will lose hp.. I drive a 1999 c280 v6

While I don't recommend simply "cutting off the cat" (you should also tune the car to compensate), I can't see how it would LOSE horsepower from removing a restriction.
