C230 Kompressor introduction

Hi all,
Brand new to this forum, just found it. Looks like a great resource. I just found a 2000 C230 Kompressor with only 11,700 miles (unbelieveable), couldn't pass it up!
Look forward to learning more...
New to MB (currently drive a F150)

I guess you couldn't pass it up, depending on the price of course.
Congrats. Where was the vehicle located (I mean what State)?

Should be a fun ride for ya! Ridiculously low miles. Any idea if it was started and driven a little bit on a regular basis, or if it just sat there for years? Make sure you do all the maintenance on it. I'd do all the fluids (oil, transmission, differential, brake) and check out the suspension as the rubber may have hardened or deteriorated. When I got out first Benz it as a '98 C280. Got it in 2006 with 23K on it. Even with the low miles, and being garage kept, it still needed LCA bushings, drag link etc. Hope your a DIYer.

Thanks for the info! Massachusetts hometown garaged car. I did get new engine & transmission mounts & tires due to dryrot... changed all fluids, & did brakes. She's been awesome so far! Great info on this site, thanks all!

Have fun, it should last a long time with regular maintenance.

Replace the electrical connector receptacle on the transmission before it starts leaking. The new ones are $13 or so and there some good YouTube videos on doing the replacement.
