Lowering springs & OEM wheels/tires?

I just had the lower ball joints done on my 2000 C230 Sport and and need to do the control arm & sway bar bushings to refresh the front end. I'd like to install a set of H&R Sport springs & Bilstein Sports while it's all apart. I think the answer to this is YES but, has anyone run the OEM 17" 205/55 with the H&R/Bilstein setup or lowering springs? I'd like to postpone the purchase of C43 Monoblocks & tires for a bit because the suspension work is going to bust my budget for a while. Thanks in advance!
