Engine block coolant drain plug location
Hi everybody,
Please can anyone give me the precise location for the coolant drain plug on the engine block of a w202 c220 cdi 1999. I want to change the antifreeze and would like to give it a complete empty and flush. I would also be interested to know if anybody has used the UK version of Prestone Extended Life antifreeze. It says 100k miles or 5 years (although it's normally every two or three years for me). I have heard there have been problems in the US but apparently the composition is different. I rang Holts/Prestone and they confirmed that the US mixture is different due to local minerals etc in their water. The tech department were going to ring back regarding the UK version but I'm still waiting. Any help would be greatly received, especially regarding the drain plug location and how to access it.
