W202 C class 250td
Just bought a w202
Hi, all i just bought a W202 250td elegance. It is a late 1999 model and has 50k kms 1 previous owner and a full service history. Last service was done around 3000kms ago.
When should i do another service? also it has a tiptronic auto box. i read somewhere that i can tell it to hold gears ect.. how does this work? Last thing the key is like part of the key chain or something it s not a traditional key, and apparently the spare one doesn't work, does it mean i have to take the key to the local agent to pair it with the car or something?
Any helps and tips are appreciated

Did you not receive the owners manual with the car? That will tell you the features of the transmission. As far as service intervals is concerned, you can also refer to the owners manual.
The key, at least by North American standards, is an IFR design. If you have a spare that doesn't work, it may be the battery in the remote. You can check out how to remove the battery from the key by a simple web search.
