98 c280 grill replacement

Hello I have a 1998 c280. I was wondering if there's a grill that would fit my c280 but has a similar style to w210 or a grille that has the logo in the center? Thank you.

I bought one on line with the center Star that would fit your car. It took a minor amount of work to get it to fit exactly, about 20 minutes to 1/2 hour. It was shipped from Taiwan, and one of the first things I bought overseas. It arrived quickly, and no damage.
Here are a couple of links

The second link is the company I bought from. It's about $15.00 more than I paid, but that was in 2014.

I like the first link better.

What kind of adjustments have you done to the grill? I installed the new grill and everything was fine... until the hood keeps popping open.

I think I had the same problem if I remember correctly? Raise the hood, and check the hood "hook" attached to the underside of the hood. Where it clicks into the square hole to lock the hood down, see if the hook fully engages. If not, it is slightly adjustable.
I adjusted it, and it worked fine, except trying to get it to release after I did it, as the hook would not come forward enough to lift the hood. So, I tied a small piece of wire around the hook, and fed it through the grill. It wasn't really visible, as I tucked it a bit inside. When I release the hood, I just pull on the wire, and it moves the hook forward enough to lift the hood. It was basically a small part of the new grill plastic extrusion touching the hook.
That solved it.
Hope that helps.
