1994 C280 Crank position sensor location?
Still chasing a fuel loading issue on my C280. I've replaced the MAF, ECU, Fuel pressure regulator and spent yesterday afternoon replacing the fuel injectors.
All these repairs made the car run better, but none have fixed the issue. It runs great cold, but as it warms up it starts to loose power and runs rough. At idle the engine has a very rhythmic vibration which goes away somewhat when car is restarted. Mercedes mechanic said it was running too rich and loading up with fuel.
Anyway, a Snap-on scanner said "crankshaft position sensor signal L5 not recognized/implausible", so I thought I'd first check the connection and then replace it if necessary. I don't remember seeing it while replacing the injectors. Does anyone know where it is located?
