Brown Sludge in coolant reservoir
Hi all, about a year ago i had transmission fluid(?) leaking into my coolant. Compression test came back ok. Mechanic installed a little aftermarket cooler on the back of the radiator and rerouted the transmission fluid through it which seemed to fix the problem (although the temperature climbed slightly when idling for a long time).
Today my radiator light came on the dash so i went to top up the fluid and there was a reasonable amount of dark brown sludge in the coolant.
Just wondering what the best course of action is for this? redo a compression test or just flush the coolant and hope its just residual from the last time (already flushed once after first issue)
Or just put some some head gasket sealer in and sell the bloody thing
