Slight groaning sound
Every morning when I move off, I can hear a slight groaning sound coming from the right (passenger side ) front wheel area. It seems to happen only when the car is moving but changes slightly with road ups-and-downs. After awhile it goes away. Always back in the morning however. 1996 C280 with 51k miles. Diagnosis please

Might I have the same problem? I have a groaning sound when going in reverse, coupled with a moderate vibration, but it sounds like it's coming from the back of the car. Only happens in reverse.
