been awhile since I posted in this thread.
some old pics, but the current state of the car. Been itching to start modding again, since I looked up the value off the car and figured might as well mod it more. So far have a decent amount of parts just collecting dust at Hyevon Motors. Also thinking about another set of wheels to change the look. Just waiting for Jeremy at Powerchip to get back to the states, then I'll drop the car off w/ Serge to wrench on then dyno tune.

I would say yes, standard tune is just a generic flash for all cars, while a custom tune can be made specific to the power mods you have and maximize potential gains. Which is why I recommend you doing that in the first place, since powerchip doesn't have a specific map for the mods you have. Plus all engines are not equal, some run stronger stock than others.
I witnessed 1st hand on Ed and Sun's monsters which had a standard PC tune w/ all their mods, then when prepping for Famoso Jeremy worked his magic and was able to squezze an adittional 50+ WHP on both cars by fine tuning their ECU's. Will we ever see gains like that... not a chance, but I'm gonna try and get what I can.

Correction, Drove An '05 C230 Kompressor SS
Wow, This thread was brought back from the dead. Eeeek
Anywhoozle, After scanning through the 6 pages and drooling a bit, I do have a question concerning the Intercooler replacement.
Was there/Did You See any significant difference in power when you finally had everything buttoned up?
Is it a Mod that would be worth say $300+ and 5+ hours of Labor?
Thanks in Advanced!
Oh BTW, I Love the Front Lip fitment, What brand is it?

I just tried PMing you but your inbox is full and isn't accepting any messages.
Some time has passed and I'm looking to do some performance mods, The Intercooler is one of them.
Can you tell me what IC you used?

Thanks!
Shes an 05 have about 110K so far. Had the EIS go bad early on when I was still under warranty. Some lower air hose gave out or something that I believe was covered due to recall. Also some steering wheel airbag recall. After that I stopped going to the stealership, since I had Serge. Replaced all 4 coil packs 3 years ago also had some brake switch go out about that time. Nothing really bad *knock on wood* Oh and chipping chrome on cup holder lol
