Hmm, weird I can't seems to find any website for Metra. I have found some aftermarket audio shop carrying that brand but it doesn't make much sense, I can't even find the dash kit for my make. Do you have a link for it Bluell?

Never fear, I still have all of the photos.
I'll fix them now. Looks like the pictures were deleted as attachments because they were larger than 800x600. I'll simply link them from my own website.
[edit]
All of the photos are fixed now. Please let me know if there are any discrepancies between them and the old attachments.

I too would like to see the images. Session's link http://fourspace.com/photos/audio10/index.html gives me a 404 error (URL not found)
Perhaps Session could link up with the owner of http://www.installuniversity.com/mb/index.htm and post it all there.

I just used those picts to do the install of my Audio 10 and I must say, the actual process is a LOT easier than it seems =) Just get the right tools and it will sail right in.

i used these same instructions when i installed my Audio10 Feb 2003. referenced them to remove the Audio 10. ive taken my center console apart countless time now for digital climate control install, PTS swtich row install, IMS switch row install, XM install, and so on. the process is not hard at all!

Citron,
i just ordered a climatronic. Just wondering once i remove the old one in order to tell if it works i just plug it up, right? Is there anything special i have to do? Will the circulation button still open and close the windows and roof? thanks

Thanks Session for this thread - just swapped an Audio 10 tape unit for the CD version and it worked like a dream. No problems whatsoever. Brilliant. Thanks again.

Would love to see install of MB CD changer for W203 (coupe)
Those photos and instructions were fantastic, really helps eliminate the mystery of this console. I recently had MB dealer unsecure my HU, thought I was going with a new HU to use phone controls, but decided to stick with original (MB tape HU w/phone controls) Looks like I may be able to put it back in myself w/out a trip to the dealer thanks to your post.
Planning on installing ARGOS B-tooth interface to retain rest of the stock phone controls/wiring/etc.
Do you know of a similar install dcoumentation on the forum which shows install of MB CD changer for glove box?? Planning on that after the ARGOS.
Many thanks,
-Glenn

CL203 & sprinter
Thanks..
Your post helped me out alot.
Pulled apart the audio10 CD player, gave it to the local TV repair technician to run RCA leads that will connect just before the MOSFET chip. Therefore I can have a pre-amplified signal so then i can use an external EQ and amp and subwoofer. Here are some pics..
