I can't praise these guys enough. I recently purchased a nav unit from them thru EBay. Got it installed but couldn't get the GPS/nav functions to work becasue I had 00 satellite reception. They had me send the unit back, along with the antenna, so they could check things out. It turns out the connector on the aftermarket antenna I got was pushing the pin in on the mating connector of the nav unit. In the process of figuring things out they replaced the GPS portion of the unit, then wound up replacing a PC board in the GPS electronics, then had to repair the connector on the board. They called back with all the info, charged me a minimal repair fee, and even offered to back me up with the antenna supplier if necessary. Talk about EXCELLENT customer service!!! I would highly recommend these guys to anyone. They are an authorized Blaupunkt factory repair facility, are highly knowledgeable, and have prices you can't beat on OEM units. If anyone's looking for a factory unit, this is the place to go. Cheers!

Was it plug-and-play or did you have to visit the dealer to make the new unit talk nice with the car? Is this on an exchange basis or an outright purchase?

It's pretty much plug and play, especially if you get the comand retrofit cable (a Mercedes part). Steering wheel controls worked without doing anything. You need to hook up to a STAR to get the directions on your speedo display. This was an outright purchase - I used to have the cassette head unit.
