My new system simple and sweet + 1 problem

Picked up my car today had a full Infinity KAPPA audio system installed amps are Alpine V series added a couple of pics of the trunk i wanted it simple but with a little style the sub you see is a 12"

by the way when i picked it up and i started the car it has a
srs malfunction now do you all think the installer missed something ? should i just have the stealer check it out any idea's would be great

looks clean. i like it!

i would go to the stealer for the SRS light - who knows what it could be. i am sure the experts will chime in.

that is actually a common problems for Acuras... i did two CL Type S system installs and after i was done the SRS light came on in the dash... all it needed was a reset... stealership can reset it for u...

EDIT: oh yeah sweet install...

Hi, I'm about to start a similar project. Do you know from where did the installers got the remote signal for the amp?

i can ask my installer for you i don't know if he ended up useing the head unit to have the amps power up or if he wired them to come on when i start the car i will ask and let you know asap

by the way I am useing the stock head unit that came with my benz

Just reset the warning, this error will occur everytime you unplug the battery, which was probably done during the install.

ALso, it looks clean, but somehow I feel like there should be 2 subs, and not just one off to one side.

Me too, I'm a very symetrical kind of person, there needs to be equal on both sides. The MB symbol helps...how was that made?

me too... IMHO, i would have done the sub in teh middle with a MB logo trace out or somethign on top of it... but still looks nice...

Look in the manual under the bit about disconnecting a battery. You need to turn the car on with the steering wheel centred, lock the wheel to the left, then put it on full lock to the right and finally bring it back to centre. Then you turn the car off, take out the key, then turn it back on and voila, it should be gone.

for anyone who has read this thread on my srs malfunction due to audio install i went to my local stealer this morning and they had to check the codes on my car they say there are 2 sensor's that are not working and talking to each other gonna cost me over $600 to get it fixed hopefully my audio installer will pick up the tab because there was nothing wrong until they installed my sound system sheesh what a day
