Service Maintanence A

OK before I get flamed I want you to know I did a search and couldn't find anything. Or at least for my car. I have just passed the 10K mark and it's asking for the maintanence and when I looked in the manual, it told me to hold down the reset button. So I turned the key to position 2 and switched to the maintanence menu and held down the button and it goes away. However, everytime I start the car, it comes back.

So I have a 05 C230 SS. If anyone can put a link on or give me the instructions I would appreciated.

Why don't you take it in for Service A?, that's what it's telling you to do.

Yes I could but I already did a oil change and everything else is ok. So I just need to turn it off.

are you sure you have the key in position 2? try it in the other positions as well.
