iPod volume fix

I recently bought an iPod integration kit. As a lot of previous people have encountered, the volume level is less than desireable. I've had my iPod for a while so I looked back on my old freeware bin and found a usefull tool to fix the problem.

euPod

It works by raising the default volume of each MP3, without actually editing the MP3 itself. It works very quickly and is compatible with iTunes. I definitely hear an improvement in volume without loss of audio quality. Did a search and didn't see it posted here anywhere.

Thanks for the post. Will go and check this out later today and see whether it works out for me too. I love the iPod integration - and it'd be even better if I didn't have to crank it up a few notches everytime I go to the iPod (or go deaf when I switch back to regular sources).

Now... does anyone have a solution for scrolling information in the centre display to overcome the 9 character limit of the display?

Will this work for the integration kit? I thought the MB kit used the iPod's dock port...and that's a line out. Volume settings only work through the headphone output...

correct, but there's a value specified within each mp3 that does affect the line out. works in my ipod at least
