Just got a 2002 C240

Hello everybody im new to this place and i find it very informative. I have a problem though. my Cd-Changer is broken. i Dont like the stock sound. i mean i would pay 300$ for the changer and install it myself but i would still not like the sound. So I was wondering if u guys think that its a good idea just to install the Eclipse AVN5435 Nav/DVD/MP3 system paired with focal loudspeakers, JL audio Subwoofers. and Precision power amps. but all that would cost me around 1800 or so. but them i would be satisfied. yet i wonder if it would be worth it.......wat u guys and mabe some ladies think?

congrats! i just had a system put in my car 10" JL W6V2 along with a Alpine 1000Watt mono amp. The amp isnt turned up all the way only half way... but the problem with it is that the car has a stock Bose system. The system sounds great but the volume goes up and down. And yes i have already pulled out the bose mic and it still acts up. This leads me to thinking that i will need to replace the stock headunit with a aftermarket one. I'm also thinkin bout goin double din tv/gps/mp3. Last night when i was drivin the stock headunit went crazy and all my presets were gone on the FM. But when i turned on the car this morning they were all there......

g luck

Check online for the double din kit. If you can't find any, PM me and i'll steer you to one in stock by my installer. I have a aftermarket set up similiar to the one you want to do...
