update on some new (minor) mods....now featuring pics!

hi all its nothing new but here are pics of mods that I have done in the past 2 weeks but its been raining in Houston for over a week now so I finally got to take some pics. These are close-up pics of my Flik Lex wheels (YES I realize I need a drop but its probably not going to happen as my car is leased :o ), pics of the clear side marker, and the SL brake cover (fits like a glove).

Part# is 230-430-00-84 I understand most ppl. paid about $11 for it but my dealer charged $14 (and $45 for cargo net!) but they gave me $50 credit at their store so I only paid about $12 outta pocket for both (and i didnt wanna wait for shipping etc). I'm sure u can get it cheaper at www.clairparts.com

That is the number for the parking brake pedal cover. The throttle pedal is only available as an assembly and is $$$. I doubt that it would fit a C. The SL brake pedal cover should fit also and is not expensive.

here's a thread on the SL e-brake pad cover...

http://forums.mbworld.org/forums/sho...&threadid=8613

yes, the rubber nibs don't exactly match the c7 pedals, but it's close enough... and next to the door key hole covers , it's probably one of the cheapest and easiest add-on for the car...

tberry, what's w/ the double mats? are you trying to save the oem ones?

funny u should mention....they were the same ones from my Cougar (look at my sig for more info) that I got from Walmart. My father put clear (not so anymore) mats on carpeted cars so I've been doing the same on all my cars. Never even thougt of it. I want to get those European studded rubber mats (w/ MB logo) or something equivalent if you have suggestions :p
