C-240 6-CD Changer Q's
Hi folks,
I have a 2003, C-240 with OEM 6-CD Changer in the Glove Box.
My CD Changer has been acting up, but witrh little banging on it and what not the "Ejection Problem" got fixed and even Fixed my "Magazine Empty" message ... but now these tricks are no longer working ...
So, I was googleing and I came across the following thread ...
https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...ml#post4270164
It gave me some ideas, but when I tried taking out my 6-CD changer ... I have Two (2) Hex Head Screws (7/64) on the side holding the CD Changer ... I managed with difficulty to take them out ... I started Yanking on the CD Changer ... but No Go ...
1) I am Not a handy guy
2) I have limited tools
So, with that in mind and my Determination to take this unti out ... since I have found a post somewhere else that shows how to fix my unit ...
Q: Can anyone Kindly tell me HOW TO TAKE OUT the 6-CD Changer? Step-by-step for Dummies please!
Any and all Help would Greatly Be Appreciated!

Hi Gonwk,
Try reviewing some info from my CD changer fix thread here:
https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...azine-fix.html
A single vertical T20 torx screw holds the changer bracket to the glove box.
It should be just to the right of the front face - a flashlight can help locate it.
Good luck!

Hi DarthBudice,
Wow ... Thanks for the Super Fast response!
Darth, I went to the dealer right after my posting this and cornered a MBZ Mechanic and he told me exactly what you mentioned above ...
I will try and post back my experience here for the Next Person.
Really Appreciate Your Help!
