Having the right offset its always better than spacers imho since all spacers are doing is getting you a lower offset to get it to what you want.

thx phil & skankz,

raise it up to avoid keep banging my mid-pipe on bumps and exiting plazas. it has already cracked my passenger header which I have it scheduled to fix next week.

Those look sick! I think the CF MB start center caps would also flow nicely with those wheels in that color, but they look clean how they are right now too

Looking at these. They're cheap so i can't expect them to be real.. but at least they're staggered. Opinions?

Got this rims and wheels for 1700$, I'm guessing not real but not that I care anyway. You can see those exact on C63. I gotta say, changed the car completely, looks amazing.

I found a smokin' deal on a set of wheels and tires, but here is the issue.
They are 18" off an '07 BMW. I think they will look good, but I need to play with photoshop first.
The fronts are 225/40/r18 and the rears are 255/35/r18
So we have a 5x112 bolt pattern, and these are a 5x120. I believe BMW offsets are 34 up front and 37 in the rear.
Are adapters a bad idea?
And will the width of the adapter make them too wide?

Here is a pic to get an idea.

What do you mean by "bulge"? I thought that was wide tires on skinny wheels?
You mean they will stick out, or rub?

I found some adapters that are only about 5/8" thick.

Why not just get a set of tsw or vmr wheels of the same look.

Those e92 328 sport wheels are nice, but the adapter kit if there is one are always around 15-20mm thick which will make the offset of the wheel stick out 20mm more.

you can always put it on your e46 tho.

offset will be too low with adapters, you can fill and drill but its not really worth it for those wheels

I found this offset calculator. It says I will be 16mm LESS clearance on the strut side, and the outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 10mm.
With a 15mm adapter, from what I have measured, it looks like it should fit.
You guys see anything on that calculator I'm missing?
I'm not planning on lowering.

I'd give up on them, but even after buying adapter, they are still a good deal with the tires. So I just want to be sure.

Hogger, if you do those wheels at 34 and 37 ET, adding 15 mm spacer/adapters will push them out to a 19 and 22 ET respectively and that pushes it outward from the strut. You would have more strut clearance.

19 and 22 ET pushed you out past the fenders. you would be "pokin." Too aggressive of offsets.
