Those look sick! I think the CF MB start center caps would also flow nicely with those wheels in that color, but they look clean how they are right now too

amg rims
Looking at these. They're cheap so i can't expect them to be real.. but at least they're staggered. Opinions?

I found a smokin' deal on a set of wheels and tires, but here is the issue.
They are 18" off an '07 BMW. I think they will look good, but I need to play with photoshop first. The fronts are 225/40/r18 and the rears are 255/35/r18 So we have a 5x112 bolt pattern, and these are a 5x120. I believe BMW offsets are 34 up front and 37 in the rear. Are adapters a bad idea? And will the width of the adapter make them too wide? Here is a pic to get an idea.

What do you mean by "bulge"? I thought that was wide tires on skinny wheels?
You mean they will stick out, or rub? I found some adapters that are only about 5/8" thick. |

Why not just get a set of tsw or vmr wheels of the same look.
Those e92 328 sport wheels are nice, but the adapter kit if there is one are always around 15-20mm thick which will make the offset of the wheel stick out 20mm more. you can always put it on your e46 tho. |

I found this offset calculator. It says I will be 16mm LESS clearance on the strut side, and the outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 10mm.
With a 15mm adapter, from what I have measured, it looks like it should fit. You guys see anything on that calculator I'm missing? I'm not planning on lowering. I'd give up on them, but even after buying adapter, they are still a good deal with the tires. So I just want to be sure. |
