Painting your wheels black
I like the idea of having my wheels painted back on my 2007 C-230 sport AMG package. The car is the creamy white and I think black rims would look awesome. Also I love the rims it has.
Do you guys have any suggestions.
Thank you.

I have to admit that bronze looks good. I have this image on my mind of a creamy white with black accents, I.E. Wheels, windows, etc.
Separate question if I posted a picture already on a different post how can I use it again I.E. point to it?
thanks

Does anyone know if those wheels are available in aftermarket? What I mean is is there an aftermarket mfg that make replica of them in different size. I'm looking for these wheels too but thought they would look nice in 18 in. Thanks for any input.

Not sure which offset I should choose and what would be the appropriate tire to run. Thanks.

But in rear I have 9,5" ET33 with 255/35, and thats not so flushed. I tried to measure how big spacer I need but I couldnt get any sensible result. So does anybody know how big spacer I order ? What is thickest spacer which i could put without fender rolling or any bodywork with those wheel and tire specs ? I have only H&R -40mm springs on my car.

Now I put these wheels under my car. So there is in F 8,5" ET30 with 225/40 tire and its perfect and no rubbing or anything. No fenders rolling. Its same line with fender. (is the term "flushed" or something, sorry my english xD).

230 wheels cont...
First off I'm new to the forum. 2006 C230 Sport is my weapon of choice.
I have cracked wheels and was in search of replacements. Below are a few observations and a question or two.
1. This thread has a ton of info. If you cannot find the answer here it isn't available.
2. Don't buy S class wheels. They have a 14mm stud. I bought some off of Craigslist. I need to resell.
3.http://www.powerwheelspro.com/shop/index.php?cPath=23 Do you guys like this manufacturer?
4.http://www.oewheelsllc.com/Wheels_3/...z#.U1HMMaJ39HA Their wheels are nice looking, but don't fit the big brakes on Sport models.
I bought Tire Rack wheels the night before I found the powerwheelspro website.
Thanks for the great info,
Tim

W203 C320 & C230k, E36/E46/E90 darksiders
Some info here I should share.
W203 sedan with H&R springs installed.
SL500 Alphards - 18x8.5 ET35 front, 18x9.5 ET40 with 5mm spacer for ET35 rear.
Bridgestone RE-01Rs - 235/40/18 front, 255/35/18 rear.
The fronts clear, with enough room on strut side with Koni Yellows. The rears are close without the 5mm spacer, but since I had it around I figured I might as well throw it on there. Oh, and the rear wheel BARELY sits on the hub with the 5mm spacers - but they do contact. The 5mm spacer is there to clear the inside wheel well - it might clear without it but it's pretty damn close.
Special note: The Alphards use a R13 ball mount lug nut, and the R230 lugs are M14x1.5. Stock W203 wheels have a R12 ball mount, and are M12x1.5. I could NOT find a R13 ball mount lug with M12x1.5 threads, in the correct lengths for front and rear (rears with the 5mm spacer).
So what I had to do was do a stud conversion with M12x1.5, 65mm studs. Then I got M12x1.5 R13 lug nuts to match up with the wheels. A bit of a pain but it worked out well in the end.
EDIT: There's a tiny bit of rubbing on the driver's side rear. This is prior to an alignment though, but regardless I'll probably pull out the fender roller and just roll all the fenders. I'm not sure if it's actually rubbing on the metal fender or if it's the plastic trim. If that's the case I'll dremel off some plastic.

Guidance on wheel fitment
Hey guys! I've done some research and I'm hoping to get some advice. I have an 07 c230. The car is currently on stock suspension but the next step is either coilover or springs next after this. (Damn snowball effect)
I'm looking at a set of Privat Kups:
(f) 18x8.5 +36
(r) 18x9.5 +30
http://www.ebay.com/itm/18x9-5-Silver-Privat-Kup-Wheels-5x112-30-/161277089551?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Wheels&hash=item258cdd170f&vxp=mtr
From my research it looks like the +36 in front may need a small spacer to clear brakes. 5-10mm should be ok based on what I've read from others? The rear offset is already kind of low but even with a small spacer, if needed to clear brakes, I think it should be ok. The hub bore looks good for my car.
My main question, looking at that ebay link, is that it stated the pcd is 5x112 w/ 14mm stud. Being an aftermarket wheel I won't be using factory wheel bolts right? I'm guessing the 1.5 conical wheel bolts are what I'm looking for? (http://motorsporthardware.com/product/conical-bolts/) I'm not sure what to make of the "14mm stud" bit. I'm not sure how the 14mm stud fits into this equation.
I recently found that my slow air leak was attributed to a crack in my wheel. I'm not trying to get bent over by the dealer for that, I've looked around and have been unable to find a replacement wheel. Sucks, but I guess that's a sign telling me to get a set of rims for the car like I've always wanted.
Thanks
Ray
