Wagons Ho ! Let's see some W203 wagons.

I only saw a handful in the pic thread. Love to see some more wagons.

Here's a few pics of mine. Just got it tinted, so thought i'd post a few:

Why would anyone want an SUV when you can get the same room in something that looks as good as that? Very nice.

I denno I wouldn't say all that I mean it doesn't look bad but I guess its not quite my taste but I think Id rather take the ML's if it was all about the space. For some reason I really like the R's too! Nice and sleek.

I love wagons. I would give my left nut to have my same car/mods/6spd in wagon form. I love them- Mercedes as well as many other brands.

thanks bumpnzx3 , midnight and 4 matic. Funny, but Oregon actually had an "Oregon Trial" license plate for awhile. It had a covered wagon in the background. Unfortunately you can't get 'em any more.

glocati = you know I love your wagon :P

Not many wagons on here I wouldnt mind to own one w/ 4matic Itd be great for the snow and going up to the passes!

I don't think many SUVs offer much more storage or leg room in comparison to their wagon counterparts, but they do offer a bit more head room AND lots more suspension clearance. If you ever take your car off road or through very rough roads where you need the clearance, than an SUV (or even an honest truck) makes lots of sense, but most people just use their SUVs in the city, so its hard to justify when you get the same kind of capacity with a wagon. Heck, companies are offering lowering spring for SUVs now a days to basically make them look like a big hatchback/wagon.

Sadly, I think a large majority of the US still has the old school, wooden paneled, kid carrying, soccer mom driving image of a wagon. In all honesty, they're a sedan w/ more of an ***. hahah :P

C230 Sport Coup + 2006 W164 ML350 + 99 Ford Escort (What the heck, it gets 38 mpg!)
I like it! Check out MBenzNL's former E diesel wagon.
It ruled....but unfortunately was wrecked recently. Not a 203, but ah, still a nice wagon!

Wagons are great - very popular in South Africa. The W204 wagon is selling like hot cakes

Thanks C230/pu, jOhn,C230 SportCoup, Glyn, PAPete and 07 benz. Appreciate the compliments.

Glyn, i wish they would ship the W204 wagon over here to the states. I like it ! Sadly, wagons are not the hottest sellers over here. I think jOhn/TruTaing summed it up pretty well. People in the States seem to associate wagons with the big old Ford/Chevy wagons with wood panelling on the sides. haha ! Coup, you are right. Steve/MBenzNL's w203 was was HOT ! Sad to hear it meet its demise.

Anyhow, thanks you guys/gals. Have a good week, Greg

BTW...if ya got wagon, post a photo or two !

Hey, I'm kinda with you. I really like Benz Wagons and BMW wagons but everyone gives me the @#$@#! when I tell them I want to buy one and do what you've done. But overall, I like the way yours came out. I probably would if I had the money, put some deep A$$ dish wheels and widen the body if possible.

I just realized Steve's wagon WAS a C Class...
apparently it is also referred to as an S203.
See the pics I posted in my original thread.

I thought I saw somewhere the chassis of the wagon was called S203...I don't know.

Anyways I have seen many more wagon c55 than the sedan and they look good. The 204 wagon looks amazing.

Yes - the lower valance "gills" are not for me. However I've always loved Lorinser's front fender treatment & "gills" - as you can see you can have with or without. The sedan nose treatments are also available on the wagon.

I would want the front fender gills - Lorinser do it so well. Porsche made a dogs breakfast of it on the Panamera. (that will teach them to steal ideas)
