I talked to Jerry today and he has the new prototype in stock, but is having scheduling problems having the local c230 m271 driver to come in and let them test on his car.
It seems that this is their only delay.
Is there anyone who can get a hold of this guy? or is there anyone else in the chicago area that would do this?
I want to make sure this moves forward

the reason was because so many of our engines have different supercharger (kompressors) i had given him my vin number then the code off the s/c and i guess everything is all good now, and they need a test vehicle now??

LET ecu tune + crank pulley or renntech crank pulley
I am new to the forums, but I have been doing a lot of research. I called a local place around where I live and he told me to go with the renntech crank pulley. But, i think you guys are not biased towards anything. What do you guys think I should go with? The person working there also told me that he would make a custom set of headers from Kleemann. What do you guys think is the best to go with?

i currently have kleemann headers and cat with a remus exhaust and have pulley+tune/dyno plans in my future...
i've been talking to LET on the phone on and off... and know others who have tuned with them and have had great success with gains....
if you are able to meet with them for a dyno when you get the tune and pulley, it will optimize your car for that setup plus the headers.
otherwise you may have potential codes thrown at you because of air fuel ratios will be off and this will probably also affect your mpg.
if you go renntech, then you'll probably overstress your car and not have the ecu accustomed to the higher and more compressed flow through your engine. and i've already had to replace my supercharger (under warranty thank god). i would hate to do that out of warranty.
unfortunately... LET seems to be slow in making progress with this project. but i am patient because they seem to be the way to go in my mind.

There is a dealer with them about 15 minutes from my house so I can go to them, but i'd get the dyno done from my dad as he has one . so people you know have had pretty good success and gains out of this, and this seems like this is the newest project on the m271 engine.

haha yea he has a few service stations. i mean he knows exactly how they work, i do not yet. i mean where is ur location at, and if you are close enough I can ask him. but off the top of your head do you know the gains from your header?

before i purchased i saw a dyno before and after floating around here and the gains were about +20 hp and +20 tq. i dunno if it is really that much, but i can really feel it above 3k rpm. (i also have the kleemann cat too).
if we can get 5 people for a tune, LET will fly down and do it in person. if he goes to one of your dad's dyno places maybe we could save money on a dyno day? hmmmm.... let me know so i can coordinate with them. (renting a dyno can be expensive!)
anyways... if you want i could take you for a spin. my car isn't fast fast, but it definitely feels better than stock.
