anyone know the best way to install these to keep the resin from cracking when attaching the screws and bolts? should I through in a washer on the bottom of the lip and one under the nut end as well?

Isn't the 2007 Sport front bumper the same as the '06 and earlier? The question was asked earlier in the thread, but I don't see it answered anywhere.
I'd like to get a lip for my car, but it want to make sure it fits first...

I know that the grills ( meshes) that go into those two bumpers ( 07 vs pre07) are different size...so my only assumptions that they might be slightly different

hey i thought these were supposed to come with pre drilled holes etc to line up with the holes under the bumper already?

Your bumper doesn't have holes for the spoiler. You have to line it up (you probably need a friend to help you) and drill holes.

so i got around to installing this last weekend and I must say I am NOT impressed...fitmet was pretty bad and was obvioiusly not completely designed for the '05 c230 amg bumper at least. those big blocks on the sides of the lip are not meant for the non-c32 bumper and actually added about a 1/2" gap between the bumper and the lip as a result. Plus the lip's curvature was completely off on one end once the other end was bolted in...i ended up having to shave off those rectacngular notches just to reduce the gap and then layed my own fiberglass of what i had shaved off since the lip is hollow and it left a hole. I still have a minor gap on the driver side due to bad curvacture of the lip and not meeting flush with the underside of the front bumper. I am not saying that this is like this for every lip they make for the w203 amg "style" bumper but it was at least for my case. Plus it doesnt come with any pre-drilled holes as the picture shows on page one of this thread and I highly recommend not using those self tapping screws they provide. THe bumper itself is very thin (about 1cm) and the lip itself is hollow which again pulls from the structural stability. I personally used bolts and lock nuts. Seemed to be the best scenario to guarantee the lip would stay on and I wouldnt have to worry about the holes stripping due to flex over time...I mean no disrespect gary but I as someone who has bought this product I felt that future buyers had the right to know what they may be getting into when dropping $250 despite the $6-700 someone like euroteck wants for theirs.

We never heard any fitment problem with the c32 lip. All the customers love theirs. You probably have a defevtive piece. We can take the return.

i may have to take you up on that. It won't be for a little bit due to how crazy busy I am going to be here for the next few due to just transferring to flight school etc. I do know however that those rectangular pieces of the mold dont come anywhere near to fitting into the rectangular cutouts that are under my bumper. Mine are much much smaller in length than the ones in your mold. and before i shaved them down they caused the lip to stick down about 1/2-3/4" on the edges despite the bad curvature of the lip.

the lip will fit almost any bumper with some customizing even if u get the bumper from gary it just doesnt fit right not even the euro impact strips dont fit gary amg bumper right there is gaps in the front. i bought the bumper kit frm gary with everything nothing fits right on.
so i had to custom fit everything. the euro strips look like poopie,
and the lip doesnt sit straight it angles up.so now still trying to make it look good
good luck
