Tinted Windows... Now keyless entry is dead

Hello. I had my windows tinted and now the keyless entry is dead. Anyone ever see this? I tried both keys just to rule that out. Windows are 20%. Thanks for any ideas...

Sorry but if any thread ever deserved a STFF.. this one does. This has been covered so many times.

Is your tint metallic based? If so, it could be interfering with the transmission relays.

hey be nice, i just got this problem fixed

your com amp is prob fried, find my thread, u will find answer, "engine seized..."

Water from the tint fries the antenna amp... kinda makes me afraid to get mine tinted.

same thing happened to me when i got mine first tinted, than i had to unplug my battery to put my performance chip on, and when i plugged the battery back in, i had some electronic faults, but after about 3 days everything was fine. worked for me, could have just been a coincidence tho. been fine for a year
