how is it going guys. did the search but i couldnt find a definite answer.

would it melt the housing or the bulb connectors if i installed a 100w bulb for my low and high beam head lights. i was planning on installing hella xenon blue halogen lights. thanks.

why dont you just buy a HID kit, its probably alot cheaper. vendor on here sells it for like 35

the bulbs are 30 a pair and a very easy install. its my wife's daily driver and just need the lights a little brighter than stock.

she's the typical chick driver that knows only to start and go. more interested really in reliability issues and less whining from the wife if you know what i mean.

how much exactly is the hid kit?

You'll melt the connectors, and in the process, you'll have less usable light because they're most likely tinted blue. Don't, don't don't don't don't absolutely do not do this.

the hid kit is $35 which is the price of one of your bulbs almost. If you want to just use replacements just get some Sylvania silverstar bulbs.

The Sylvania lights are not even close compared to the output of a HID kit. HID's are not very hard to install. I would recommend this route as well.
